Travelling at the Speed of Love
Conference description
Traveling at the Speed of Love is a book on how to make your personal journey thrilling, peaceful, and filled with joy. It should be an ever-lasting, fulfilling adventure, no matter what external conditions are in place. You can have a fabulous first class journey if you know the secrets of how to fly.
Sonia breaks down the three ways to travel:
Traveling first class means being in charge of your experience. It means setting clear goals, living in the moment, having an open heart, accepting what is, and loving every bit of the experience. To upgrade to a first class journey one must fiercely love the adventure of being alive rather than fighting against or trying to control life to go your way. This approach to life is charismatic and attractive. You expect the best and life brings the best. That's a first class trip.
Traveling economy class means holding your heart close to your chest and not necessarily loving freely. It means living in a defensive mode, waiting for the worst to occur, keeping your guard up, people away, and generally being cynical and negative as you go. You inch along but the journey is relatively uncomfortable as other people cramp your space and make you miserable, just as they do in economy class on an airplane. To travel economy class in life is to tolerate the journey but not to enjoy it.
Standby is the worst way to travel though life. It is a life lived in perpetual fear, not taking charge, setting goals, or being responsible for your journey. When on standby in life you may make a little progress, but cannot really count on it. Because, like a standby ticket, you invest the least, you get the least guarantee for even getting on the journey. More people than not live in standby mode, waiting for life to get better but not really believing it will, or trying to improve it on their own. For these people life is a crapshoot. They don't expect much and don't get much. In a way, they miss the ride altogether.
Sonia explains the many ways you can live without fear and upgrade your life to First Class. Who wouldn't want to do that?!
